I have bought some SPD cleat pedals for my single speeder (mtb pedals for a road bike) but am strugling to decide what shoes to get and also are the cleats for the soles universal or should I be getting a certain type? Any help much appreciated. |

I put spds on my road bike as well mtb so I only needed one pair of shoes. Only thing I would check is that the sole retains waterproofness (if that is what you want) once the cleat is attached. You can ask in the shops. Cheaper shoes generally wont whilst mid to expensive ones will. Good luck, hope this helps. Buster |

Thanks again Scott |
