Cycle route from Sutton Coldfield centre to Birmingham city centre

Joined: 16 Aug 2010 Posts: 2 Bike: | I am soon to be moving from the South of Birmingham to Sutton Coldfield, just north of the shopping centre but don't know the best way to get to town (to The Mailbox) on a bike as I am used to driving only so I use the Aston Expressway. Does anyone have any suggestions about the best routes or best roads to use etc etc as I want to commute by bike each day? It would be hugely appreciated! Particularly useful would be the stretch between The Mailbox and once you get past the M6 as I can't for the life of me remember a good way to go, especially as there are one-way roads in town and I would prefer to stick to cycling on roads. |

Joined: 17 Aug 2010 Posts: 2 Bike: | hi ya first youve got too get to the Tyburn House Pub along the Chester Road cycle path.then get on the canal towards spegetti junction.once at spegetti take the secound canal on the left(cuckoo bridge)its a straight run into town. |
