The 2016 Bolton Bash Cycle Sportive is a cycle ride that takes place from Smithills School, Bolton and promises to be a “reet grand” day out in Lancashire. There will be free parking on the day and registration will take place at the school/leisure centre. The routes are fully signed, however it is worth noting that the roads are not closed and you will be required to follows the rules of the road, stopping at junctions and traffic lights on the course. This is a non-competitive ''cycle challenge'' event and you can start any time between 8:00am and 9:30am. At registration you will be given a timing chip which is attached to your bike. As you roll across the start line your personal timing will start and then finish as you return back to the finish line.
