Join Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice’s annual Big Bike Ride fundraiser on Sunday 4th October and be part of the largest sponsored bike ride in South East London! The event will see hundreds of local people follow the Thames from Greenwich to Erith via Woolwich. Cyclists have the choice of three start points; Cutty Sark Gardens in Greenwich, Woolwich Arsenal and Morrisons in Erith and can choose to cycle a 12 or 27 mile route. All routes take in the sights and sounds of the Thames, with achievable distances for everyone to ride at their own pace. Registration is £10 for adults, £5 for children (aged 5-15) and a family ticket is available for £25 (two adults and two children). The Hospice are encouraging everyone to raise as much sponsorship as possible so that they can raise £18,000 to support local people in need of their specialist care services. There will be prizes for top fundraisers! Everyone will receive a free bottle of water at the start and a well deserved medal at the end. The first 200 families to book a family ticket will receive a Frankie & Benny’s Kids Eat Free vouchers (valid for children under 11 years old) and there are 200 20% off Frankie & Benny’s discount cards available for everyone else! To register, or for more information, please visit www.communityhospice.org.uk, email info@gbch.org.uk or call 020 8319 9230.
