This bike computer is aimed at mountain bikers. It is wireless and requires no cables. Using a fork mounted sensor, the data is transmitted wirelessly to the computer. The computer has 9 functions including the standard, total distance, average speed and trip distance.
The display is split into 2, with large numbers at the top for easy visualisation. The pack comes with suitable mounts for the handlebars and forks.

"I bought a Wintech FS w/ Pedaling Cadence last March 24, 2008. 1st month, a speck of dust inside LCD. 3rd month, some functions does not display - replaced 3 CR2032 batteries even if factory-supplied batteries are still in good condition.
Unit worked for the next 2 months. 6th month, same problem occurred. Only speed, distance and cadence functions are displayed and working.
Used the unit just the same for the next 6 months until it finally died. Owner's verdict: Factory Batterries last longer than the unit itself. I feel the 2nd Generation '09 Model will perform as poorly.
I think this can only work on indoor stationary bikes or treamills. I returned it to local dealer where I bought it. I settled for the Basic and better-known, more reliable CATEYE WIRELESS STRADA. No fancy designs or loud logos - but it works. I'm was very frustrated with my mavic computer."
