Crank Brothers Cobalt Wheel Set

This is an innovative, lightweight, disc brake only, hand built, cross country race, wheel set, that is tubeless and clincher tyre compatible.
They have 6061-T6 aluminum, un-drilled, 19mm wide rims, with a unique extruded internal/external radial centre rib, onto which the butted, Sapim, Stainless Steel spokes are attached, with 7075-T6 alloy nipples, in matched pairs, which allows for easier truing, with a standard spoke key.
They also have disc brakes with a 6 bolt IS disc fitting, a 15mm front hub, that is QR compatible, with optional adapter kit, an aluminium rear freehub body, with 6 pawls, in two sets of 3, that engage 48 times every wheel revolution to ensure near instantaneous pickup, and two sets of freehub cartridge bearings.
There are also quick release axles, front and rear, with split skewers supplied.
