Wippermann Connex 900 Steel 9 Speed Chain

This is a professional class, 114 link, 9 speed chain, that is compatible with 9 and 8-speed systems, offers smooth action shifting and optimum protection against corrosion, and is ideal for hard and heavy duty action on MTB and racing bikes.
It is made from ground, polished and Nickle plated, Steel components, with extreme cut-out outer links for exceptionally good gear shifting, and has XBH through-hardened link pins, for improved durability, increased service life of the chain, and protection against premature sprocket wear.
It also has high lateral flexibility combined with high torsional strength, which ensures a soft, smooth running gear shift while ensuring precise chain guidance onto the sprockets.
It comes supplied with a conneX-link.
(Unlike other 9-speed chains the conneX 900 series retains the wider inner-link surface area and thickness of link plates used in 8-speed chains.This makes for a stronger chain under stress and is achieved by the minimised pin projection unique to conneX.)
